Creative Colors International Inc. garnered a place on Franchise Business Review’s 2021 list of top franchises, where it scored high marks for having an excellent relationship with the franchisees in its system.
The independent study revealed that CCI’s franchisees are highly satisfied with the company’s performance. As part of the survey, CCI’s franchisees ranked the company high in core values, which measure the trustworthiness of the franchisor, as well as the overall relationship and level of respect for the entire franchise organization. It also looks at CCI’s corporate culture and the promotion of honest and ethical business practices.
The results of Franchise Business Review’s research make it clear CCI’s franchisees know the company truly cares about the success of their business. Working for a trustworthy company can motivate franchisees. People working at high-trust companies report 50 percent higher productivity, 76 percent more engagement, 40 percent less burnout, and 74 percent less stress, according to research by author and neuroscientist Paul J. Zak in the Harvard Business Review.
“What gives me the most passion is building a team and setting people up for success as a team, not as an individual,” said Jeremy Weber, a CCI franchisee in West Michigan. “I was looking for a franchise, so I had that playbook and an established team already in place from a franchise network to help me be successful. Creative Colors was the right fit for me.”
Weber became a CCI franchise owner in 2015. Prior to pursuing entrepreneurship, Weber was in charge of information technology for Farmers Insurance and operated a consulting business. He also served in the military, where he was stationed at Camp Pendleton and did two tours aboard the USS Essex, primarily in the Persian Gulf and the Western Pacific theatre of operations.
CCI is a mobile repair and restoration franchise business specializing in the repair, reconditioning, protection, and color restoration of leather, vinyl, fabric, plastic, and carpeting in a variety of markets. CCI’s technicians can repair or restore tears, burns, cuts, scratches, stains, fading and color restoration, seam slippage, and replacement parts. CCI also offers a sanitizing and disinfecting solution designed to provide an added layer of security to help protect businesses and customers from COVID-19.
In addition to scoring top marks in core values, CCI rated very highly in self-evaluation, which indicates how current franchise owners rate their own personal enjoyment in being part of the franchise organization as a whole and how they rate their own personal enjoyment in operating their franchise business. CCI also exceeded Franchise Business Review’s benchmark franchisee satisfaction numbers in the areas of training and support and overall satisfaction.
“CCI takes great pride in enhancing the franchise opportunity and experience,” said Mark J. Bollman, CCI’s president and co-owner. “The feedback given by our franchisees is a testament to our continued success and the satisfaction of our franchise owners.”
Franchise Business Review conducted their research by surveying CCI’s franchisees on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including training and support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity. CCI was among more than 300 franchise brands, representing more than 28,000 franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research.
