CCI Presents Annual Awards Virtually

December 11, 2020

Creative Colors International Inc. hosted a virtual awards ceremony to honor its top-performing franchisees, who are succeeding in generating strong sales results, despite the many challenges this year presented.

Americans are limiting travel to help flatten the curve, and business owners are doing their part to keep people safe. CCI, the mobile leader in leather and vinyl repair, typically hosts an annual conference each year for its franchisees to build relationships, share best practices and reconnect with friends. It gives franchisees and technicians an opportunity to network with their peers and gain knowledge. CCI also uses it as an opportunity to introduce the latest new products and services the company offers. The conference culminates in a festive celebration where CCI presents its annual achievement awards. Out of an abundance of caution, CCI opted to hold an owners meeting and awards presentation virtually this year.

Despite the challenges of navigating this season, CCI was not willing to sacrifice its annual awards ceremony simply because technicians and owners could not meet in person. Honoring employees for their hard work boosts morale, improves employee retention, increases productivity and can raise profits, according to the Society for Human Resources Management.  CCI believes recognizing the hard work of its franchisees and service technicians helps instill loyalty and fosters the company’s family-friendly philosophy. The virtual event helped increase employee engagement and bolster company satisfaction.

“Honoring our franchisees and technicians is one of the highlights of our year,” said Mark J. Bollman, CCI’s president and co-owner. “Our franchisees are successfully navigating this difficult time and are proving their resilience and dedication to the brand. Holding a virtual celebration provided some welcome levity and joy.”

CCI presented a long slate of awards during its virtual presentation on November 7. Some of the awards were for work anniversaries, including awards to three technicians for celebrating 15 years of service. CCI presented awards to franchisees and technicians who increased their sales by more than 20 percent of their all-time high, and Rookie Technician of the Year, among many others.

One of the year’s most coveted awards went to Jesse & Chastity Shreve for top sales in a single franchise territory. The Shreve franchise garnered nearly $560,000 in sales for the year. The Roanoke, Illinois-based franchisee turned the key on its first mobile van in 2017. Prior to opening his own franchise, Shreve worked as a CCI service technician for 11 years.

Chris Shefts received the honor of first prize for earning the highest sales for an established technician. He has served as a service technician in the Chicago area for more than 20 years. He specializes in making repairs to car interiors.

CCI is planning to distribute next year’s awards in person at its annual conference. The 2021 conference will be held at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama, Nov. 5-7, 2021.

CCI enables workers to control their future in a field with high growth potential. Operating a franchise business offers entrepreneurs a proven business model and the training and support they need to succeed. CCI’s mobile franchisees operate their business from their home and have the flexibility to determine their own schedule.
