CREATIVE COLORS GOES BEYOND EXPECTATIONS TO HELP LOCAL RV DEALERSHIP

March 7, 2017

As the warmer weather teases, people everywhere are excited to dive into their favorite outdoor activities. For recreational vehicle owners, this means mapping out upcoming road trips and airing out the RV. After being winterized, however, there may be a few projects to tackle before hitting the highway. Is the linoleum torn? The upholstery faded? Carpet frayed? Fortunately, there’s no need to spend exorbitant amounts of money to get your RV in shape, because Creative Colors International can help!

Creative Colors International (CCI) is the industry-leading, on-site repair and restoration franchise in the country. With 75+ locations in 24 states, CCI’s revolutionary, proprietary technology restores damaged material at a fraction of replacement costs, saving customers up to 90 percent. Additionally, CCI repairs are stronger than the original area and are nearly invisible to the naked eye.

From individual RV owners to dealerships across the country, CCI is well known for both the quality of its services and the high level of customer service that its technicians provide. Take, for example, the emergency repair that Earnie Olin performed for his long-term customer last summer.

Olin is a CCI franchisee who is based out of Alpharetta, GA, and works with customers throughout the metro Atlanta area. One of his long-term customers is an RV dealership that is approximately 60 miles from Olin’s office. Chad Taylor, the Service Manager at Southern RV in McDonough, GA, called Olin late one Saturday afternoon and said he was in dire need of help!

Taylor had a customer who planned to take his new RV out on the road that coming Monday. The problem was that they had discovered a tear in the linoleum under the fold-out unit of the RV. An object had lodged under the unit and torn the floor. Taylor knew that pulling out the linoleum was a costly and time-consuming effort. He needed the linoleum repaired, not replaced. But, could the repair be done in time to get the camper to its new owner on Monday? Absolutely.

Olin and Taylor agreed to meet at 7:00 AM on Sunday morning. Olin arrived on time and got right to work. He heated the floor so that the linoleum would lie flat. Then, he applied a special compound to patch the hole. Next, he matched the grain of the repair to the original material and made sure the color matched. Finally, he applied a clear, matte top-coat to protect the repair. In all, the repair took about an hour and cost the dealership under $200. This is a significant savings over the thousands of dollars that replacing the floor would have cost.

Olin was happy that his work reflected the company’s motto of “We Can FIX That!” He was also glad to help Taylor and Southern RV. “They are my customers, sure, but they have also become friends. They support me, so when they are in trouble, I help them,” said Olin, “After all, it was just a Sunday morning that I gave up. No big deal.”

Taylor says that positive attitude is typical for Olin. “Earnie, in general, is a great guy,” Taylor said. ”I was in a pickle, and he worked with me and got me taken care of.”
